Heidelberg University is offering PhD Scholarships in Defining Innate Immune Checkpoints Controlling Natural Killer Cell Recognition of Melanoma Cells to encourage high-achieving students in Germany to pursue higher education.

The PhD candidate will use primary NK cells, melanoma cells, and other tumor cells in an immune-oncology CRISPR/Cas9-based screening methodology to validate currently existing candidates for anti-tumor activity utilizing in vitro and in vivo approaches.
